The Best Way to Load Music From Media Player to iTunes

    Windows Media Player

    • Open Media player and select the burn tab, which is on the top of the window. Select all the songs you would like to have imported into iTunes and drag them into the space provided on the right side of your media player window. Above this space will be a guide showing you space available on the disc. Songs will be limited to approximately 80 minutes of music per disc including 1-2 seconds of space between songs; plan accordingly. Once you have finished adding songs, select burn and wait until the process is finished. Exit Media Player.

    iTunes

    • Open iTunes. Insert the disk you just burned in Media Player. iTunes will ask if you want to import the songs, select yes and be sure all the boxes are checked. iTunes will show you the progress and ding when completed.

The songs will be placed in a recently added folder. iTunes may not recognize the media data on the CD and will not pull down cover art. Open the recently added folder and place these new songs in a playlist you choose. You can make a new playlist using the button on the bottom left>make new playlist or in the tolls menu. Right click on a song, which is most likely titled Track 1 and choose rename. Type the title and left click. Repeat this with all unnamed songs.
