How to Download Device Drivers
- 1). Locate the manufacturer name and model number of the device for which you need a device driver. Both pieces of information will be printed somewhere on the device itself.
- 2). Open your Web browser.
- 3). Go to the manufacturer's website for your piece of hardware.
- 4). Search for your product by model number. If no "Search" box is present on your manufacturer's website, click "Products" and browse through the list of products until you find your model number. Click on the model number to load the product page for that device.
- 5). Scroll down to "Support." Some manufacturer's websites simply have a "Downloads" or "Driver" section. Go there. Find the download link for your device driver. Click on it to download the driver to your hard drive.
