Print screen or PrtScn key is used to take snapshoot of the computer screen and using 'Ctrl + V', you can paste that image in any image editor to save. Alternatively, if you don't want the whole computer display to be published out, press 'Alt+PrtScn' key shortcut, to get the screenshot of just the active window. Sometimes it happens that this key doesn't response. Here are some ways given to fix the problems related with it, they are as follows,
• Just restart your computer to restore the functionality of computer.
• Turn F Lock Off, to restore functionality of print screen key.
• Press Fn key along with the print screen key to do the job.
• Use the 'Snipping Tool' utility, by going to All Programs > Accessories >, to take the snapshot, for windows 7 or vista.
Friends these are the ways by which you can get rid of the print screen problem you are facing out. But let me remind you that every operating system has its own ways to use print screen functionality. As windows xp doesn't have snipping tool utility, where we have to download third party software to capture screen, Mac operating system users uses Command+Shift+3 keys combination to save a snapshot of the entire desktop as a PNG file.
