Treating Vaginal Yeast Infections - Get Off Your Birth Control Pills

Someone asked me about what would help with the vaginal yeast infections she has.
It starts with Bacterial Vaginosis, manifesting as a very copious yellow discharge.
Once she starts treatment with Metronidazole either vaginally or orally, and the yeast shows up.
Diflucan never worked for her even before all of this, but now nothing will clear up the yeast any more.
Her sex life is ruined and the relationship is starting to suffer from the constant stress.
Her partner has been treated with Metronidazole and Sporonax, after thinking that he was re-infecting her with the yeast and bacteria, but it still happens.
They cannot use condoms, as he is an older man who can't maintain an erection throughout sex while wearing a condom and since they are both clean of all STDs.
The woman is on the birth control pills, so they don't need them.
They have been doing everything the doctors have told them, but nothing changes.
I personally would try cleaning out internally.
Our bodies need balance, and most medicine doesn't provide the balance that we need.
What jumped out at me here were the birth control pills.
I hate to say this, but you need to get off them as soon as possible if you ever plan to beat candida.
I bet they are the main reason you are unable to make any headway in your treatment.
Clueless doctors prescribing false antibiotics and BCPs ruined my life for nearly 10 years.
They will not believe you if you bring up the subject, much less volunteer the info themselves.
If you are unable to use an IUD or diaphragm, then you or your partner may need to consider a snip! Anyway, the Metronidazole is only guilty of killing off bad bacteria and making that "real estate" available to invading candida.
If I remember correctly, the probiotics in yogurt, which are so good for your digestive system, are also helpful against vaginal yeast infections.
Be sure it is unsweetened, active culture yogurt.
I believe it is safe to apply directly to the infected area.
