Generating leads from your content is without a doubt more profitable than running ads because it is mostly free, but did you know that leads from content will also get you a much higher conversion rate?

This article is dedicated to explaining why leads from your blog, video blog, articles, etc. are much better for many reasons.

First off, your blog should provide the information that the visitor came to get. By providing good content that answers questions or provides quality information, it will automatically give you a good rapport with your visitor. You have built a little bit of trust, and you call to action at the end of your blog will provide a lot more leads than a poorly pieced together post would.

When you do capture that lead, they will of course go to your email list. Since you have already started to build a relationship, no matter how small, when they recieve an email from you, they will know who it is from! Because of that, the open rates on your follow up emails will be astronomically higher than before! In turn, this will increase your conversion rate. People like to buy from other people when given the choice. It is sometimes difficult to get people to buy from a lead capture page. When you market with your blog, they are buying from a person, which they want to do, and you are already someone who has helped them in the past!

Another reason that getting SEO leads is better

When you visit a site that helps you out you usually return to it in the future. Having great information on your site or blog creates returning visitors, and also spreads through the word of mouth. If someone really likes something, what do they do? They click the like button on Facebook, they click the G+1 or tweet button so they can share it to everyone else! What this does is create an incredible amount of syndication for your content that will be in front of thousands of other people in seconds, just by helping that one person!

You should be putting your content where ever you can. Put it on Pinterest, Facebook, Google, articles, Linked In, etc. The more people you can get your content in front of, the better! You have a better chance of someone clicking a share button, and people are much more apt to visit if they see it is already approved by someone else they know! This is power!

Keep creating content. It may take months for it to pick up momemtum, but once it does, you will be amazed at the results. Producing leads blogging doesn't happen overnight, and can be discouraging, but keep going, and it will pay off in groves!
