Forgotten Dreams 4
AWAY IN THE WILD WOODS The smoke curling lazily, diffusing, grey mist Aura of mystery, keen air, forest sun kissed The birds darting, not timid, quite close to our door Listen! haunting, the cries of the crows from afar.
Our heart is far away from those of our fellows Our cottage seems planted here close in our meadows Where we feel Mother Nature extends her great power Instils peace in our humble abode each sweet hour We're friends to all creatures,'specially those that are small Sun and moon both are worshiped, their light welcomes all Forest friends, and all lives of the heavens and earth Acknowledged in peace, hearts knowing silent love's worth Forests, lonely dales, stones of great historic age, Are home to the hale, hearty, the gypsy and sage Wild woods that whisper of cosmic timelessness great Reflecting its wisdom, seeking all life's embrace Home is our hearth-place, our dear cottage in the hills Happy our home midst nature's treasures and clear rills Comforted, soul solaced we live safe in our wood Drawn to our natural heart's home as all of us should.

BEAUTEOUS DAY Beauteous day, how crystal clear your sunrise! Beauteous morn, how crisp and crunching is my tread Frost lingering so white on the grasses, paddocks With innocent, vast blue skies cloudless overhead Beauteous dawn awakening all the life forms Heralds of more human action, stress, and tears Cool draughts of icy air shock lungs to breathe again Let beauteous day lead on repeating beauteous years! ..

BEAUTY Within the smallest thing that we may unthinking, o'erlook In depths of any life lies endless Beauty hidden deep.
Though it may not outward shine, all vivid in rich display, There exists special Beauty formed in Nature's special way When man searches the hidden beauty deep within himself He has the chance to find the key to all of Nature's wealth When he seeks his inner joy, his own spring of happiness In this peaceful inner climate is his own blessedness It is Beauty simplifies our lives, magnifies the good, Presenting endless sensual pleasures, satisfies his mood 'Tis only Beauty has the power to uplift mind and heart And is the essence of great things including mankind's Art Humans who displace beauty do so to their detriment As ugliness distorts the mind and hurts true sentiment Lack of proportion, culture true and qualities of grace Portray art's effort starved of all that's finest in our race Beauty once returned to its throne with dignity sublime Allows quality of balance to endure for all time A world where love and kindness intermingled never die A state where love and beauty twinned, form bridge 'tween earth and sky.

BEE-EATERS They swoop, and swish and glide In their thrill at summer's birth They seem to glimmer, glow and flash Fleeting, flying close to rich brown earth Colours bright, such delight! Blues, and greens, reds and yellows In catching sight of them it's like Glimpsing birds with opals for their feathers.

BEHOLD THE DAY So, wait awhile to herald in the morning.
Patiently approach delicate moments of the dawning Fill the eyes, subduing all other senses Lovingly through soft faint sympathy of light around you Paint clear, all life's subtle truths coloured with your compassion.
Temper the strong and straight, with curve and kindness Weld all the opposing forces, blend them by uniting See finest beauty in each fragile moment Rather choose clarity, truth and let the devious be Embroider qualities you value into active day.
Behold the wondrous light expand, extending Touching mountain top now into valleys' grey shadowed vale Trust Sun's golden Orb will perform its encore And herald the next tomorrow's dawn with equal promise Of fine and wondrous opportunity to live and be.

BELIEVE Human life does not seem to have improved Over long history of dramas, events So what of desire, wars, feelings of pain Do they have to come back, again and again? Come challenge all this, earth messenger fair Avoid the traps - of selfishness beware For those are the forces, hatred as well Which cause us return to material shell Do we ever succeed in shedding yoke Of lust, bad feelings and all they evoke- Free, unshackled from sin, pure as we are With our spirit transformed, attuned to our star? Many love Nature but humans afar As often they will their characters mar To love great Nature from solitary seat Is easier loving than people we meet So what of our children, what is their gain? What is their future, their good fate or pain? Or will this same tale repeat on and on? Will ever human sins and sadness be done? In the life of the future free and fine Lives of our children of your flesh and mine Will shine with new hope, they're born to achieve A new Earth estate - Paradise we'd believe! ..

BE THE SUNSHINE OF MY LIFE (Song) Be the sunshine of my life Bring me happiness each day Promise me you'll come to stay In the sunshine, as my wife When the clouds sometimes appear And the shadows pass and rain Sight of you comes back again Proving that you're very near Please don't let the darkness reign Be the sunshine in my life Don't let night bring worry, strife Free in light come back again I do fear the darkness, night Let your light shine from above Just delight now in my love I respond to golden light I know that summer will go As the sun it moves away Be the sunshine in my day When wan winter comes, and snow Winter summer autumn, spring All these many moods you'll bare Your kindness, love and your care Of gold glowing truth you'll sing Be the Sunshine of my Life! Bring me happiness each day I know you will want to stay As the sunshine of my life.

BLISS TO BLISS The limitless bliss and power of Great Nothingness The Cosmic serenity, free of all movement The One comfort and strength in the One Great Essence No division, no conflict, no fear, disarray The ripple of light filling aeons of time Space Without day or measure all free of time's decay The freedom yet sure in the subtlest of binding Fabric of life stirred, to ripple lightness in waves Oceans of Oneness - the blue bliss of belonging To all and to nothing - no dimensions, no place Nothing but the Oneness and peace and great Power Surrendered in the measureless light rippling Space Blaze of great Lightning flash, came striking the Substance Myriads sparkles created spirits like rain Shattered, scattered, divorced from the matrix Oneness Ne'er to return until Cosmic chime rings again These life sparks miniature replicas of Parent Web-light of souls, web-life with light threads linking all Design soft like delicate patterns of snowflakes Free spirits, lace bonded, now separately placed Free with their new found self-image and Somethingness Each spark to ebb and flow with the vast Cosmic Tide Stretching to find consciousness within and outside To return, self-centred each to self patterned home.
Melting, individual life sparks descending Falling as spirits converted to water, rain To fall and in falling, momentum quick gathering As life once the one fire, now by air cut in twain.
The life of the Oneness, the peace of the Cosmos Disturbed as movement directed downward and down Awak'ning them at last like droplets of moonshine On our solid earth sphere, enshrined matter - all brown And some of the Oneness was drawn into meadows Some became green in the forms of leaves and the trees Some sparked new with delight in bright colouration Flowers of all kinds became spirit home to all these In rock, sand and mineral and all living verdure In insect and animal some souls chose to swim Experiencing laughter, joy and the sadness In Illusion - mem'ry of the Oneness grown dim Life sparks now solid rock, in high peaking mountain Life flowing in streams, pounding as waves on seashore Atoms knowing both warmth and cold sunrise dawning As animal, human - far from Oneness of yore All came to know last of their spirit's adventure As they were born in man's form and found spirit's grace Each was to taste sweetness, sorrow and suffering In man's knowledge of nature and lessons of race.
Dimension of outwardness, dimness and downness Vague longings of spirits feeling foreign and chained Earthy and separate, none happy or peaceful Unconscious yearning cosmic Oneness to regain Separate and lonely, the dark gloomed and glowing The grey and the lifeless, the pain all were soon known The longing, the hurt and the vague haunting strangeness Eyes opened to earth life -in earth soil their growing Future fate to return to their spirit homeland Was whispered, conveyed to all who wished to regain Simple spirit life- now complex their experience Rising was easy once Oneness thought of again Surrendering in great mingling surge towards Mother The molten sparks of life, light and colour and rain Returned to the oceans each droplet a brother The Sun drew them upward, shaken free of earth's stain.
And their knowledge completed, full of great brightness Spirit atoms lifted higher to Light and Grace The Great Sun transformed them from droplets to Ether And again they knew Bliss - but as one human race! ..

BLONDE SUMMERS When gold the wheat stalks, stubble stripped of the grain Dry perfumed with earth's heat and waiting for rain Dry crisp the crunching of footfalls on the plain These signs are the season's announcement of strain Time stretched with waiting for water to fulfil Stalks, leaf bud and flowers, and trees on the hill For life-giving rain to restore, wake as will All Nature hangs thirsting, awaiting rain still Gold stubble not yet eaten by stock or sheep Waving and waiting, growing straw coloured deep These signs of the serious heat-hurt of earth Before skies bring relief, and promised green birth Hot smell of sweet stubble - blonde life of the ground Loved by the artist and all men who have found That sweetest and dearest, the finest fare found Is the late harvest - full experience life crowned.

BLUE SKIES (Song) Fair skies are not always blue skies Fair skies are sometimes grey And gentle, as clouds are At the fair dawning of the day Blue skies are not always fair skies Remember, come what may That good comes out of change As we journey from day to day When grey clouds hide the clear blue sky Then one's faith makes one say The blue skies will come back Again and come bless us and stay.
Fair skies are not always blue skies Fair skies are also grey Whatever comes is good for some Optimistically let us pray...
Lift our good hearts to the heavens Always trust in the Law Love sunshine and clouds, too We all need them both to be sure Let the sunshine dwell in our hearts We'll keep faith in the Law When clouded horizons, We'll recall blue skies of before Fair skies are not always blue skies Fair skies are sometimes grey And gentle as clouds are At the soft dawning of the day...
