How to Be Free From Panic Disorder Permanently
The reason I have been able to conquer the horrendous anxiety associated with depression is through tremendous hard work and Christian faith.
All of my previous panic attacks were a result of unhealthy religious preoccupation.
However, I directed my mind gradually to subjects and hobbies that allowed me to outgrow, discard, and annihilate my anxiety disorder.
And thus far, this outgrowing of my former disease has been permanent.
No relapses have occurred.
I will reiterate - one must direct one's mind and heart toward things that are of genuine benefit to the person.
The vast array of things one can meditate upon is unbelievably immense.
One has only one decision to make - to push away the negative and embrace the positive things in one's life.
Now, not only is this simple, but it is extremely easy.
If a negative thought came into being in my mind, I quickly looked at an object which gave pleasure to me immediately.
This object can be ANYTHING of redeeming value.
A good television program, a good book, a piece of music on my MP3 player are examples.
Once I applied this trick every time a panic attack came into being, a certain displacement occurred.
The positive, beautiful, interesting, and healthy reality of life displaced the negative, destructive, and pathological things of our existence.
It truly worked over a period of about 3 years.
How horrendous were my panic attacks? I hurt myself physically, and in public I had several displays of odd behavior.
This garbage is completely gone now.
I am able to read books in genuine peace, listen to music with concentration, and practice my musical instrument with aspirations to be a professional musician.
