How to Cover a BBQ Grill
- 1). Take dimensions your grill with a tape measure to find the right size cover. Measure the height, width and depth. Measure the hood width and the shelf height. Check with the manufacture of your grill for a perfect fit cover or purchase a draped cover that will fit grills of your size.
- 2). Stretch the grill cover on the ground to get a general idea of the shape and how it will fit on your grill. If it is a fitted cover, lay it out on the ground with the front of the cover facing you.
- 3). Pick the cover up and position it above your grill. Get someone to assist you in lifting covers for larger grills because it will be heavy and easier to install with help.
- 4). Pull the cover down over the grill a little at a time. The cover will fit snugly, so you will need to inch it down.
- 5). Pull the drawstring at the bottom edge of the cover if it has one. Pull it so it fits tight at the bottom.
