Alignment Specifications for the 1965 Chevy Nova
- The 1965 Chevrolet Nova, often referred to simply as the "Chevy II," featured a full adjustable front suspension system. Alignment refers to the position of the tires in relation to the body of the vehicle. Poor alignment causes premature and abnormal tire wear. The most common symptom of poor alignment is a vehicle that gradually drifts to one side on its own while traveling on a flat surface.
- Optimum caster angle is + 1 degree. Caster angle within a range of +1/2 to +1 1/2 degrees is acceptable.
- Optimum camber angle is +1/2 degrees. Camber angle within a range of 0 to +1 degrees is acceptable.
- Toe-in ranges between 1/4 and 3/8 inches. There is no optimal specification.
- Toe-out at the outer wheel is 18.7 degrees. Toe-out at the inner wheel is 20 degrees.
