How to Apply Pictures to a Wooden Table

    • 1). Clean the wooden table, and lightly sand down the areas where you’ll apply the pictures. Brush away any dust from the sanding.

    • 2). Cut any part of the picture away that you don’t wish to apply to the table.

    • 3). Apply a layer of decoupage glue to the back of the pictures, and press over the sanded area of the table. Smooth away any air bubbles or wrinkles in the pictures. Allow at least 6 hours for the glue to dry.

    • 4). Seal the pictures on your wooden table. To do so, paint over the entire surface of the table, including the pictures, with a clear wood varnish. Let the surface dry overnight. Apply additional layers to give the appearance that the pictures are a part of the table’s surface, instead of raised slightly above.
