How to Make a Paracord Survival Bracelet With 2 Strings
- 1). Tie one piece of paracord in a single knot around the hole in the bottom of a buckle. Pull the ends of the paracord firmly to create a tight knot. Insert the other strand of paracord into the hole in the bottom of the buckle and tie it in a single not. Pull the ends of the paracord firmly to secure the knot.
- 2). Measure the circumference of your wrist. Mark this measurement onto the two strands of paracord, by measuring down from the top of the buckle and marking the paracords with a pen. Insert the two long loose ends of paracord through the hole in the clasp. Slide the clasp up to the mark.
- 3). Position the paracord on your work space so the clasp is the farthest from you, and the paracords come vertically towards you. There should be two strands in the middle (called the base strands) and two loose paracords on either side of the base strands (called the knotting strands).
- 4). Cross the paracord on the left, under the base strands and over the right strand. Cross the paracord on the right, over the base strands and under the left strand. Pull both ends of the left and right paracords firmly to create a tight knot.
- 5). Cross the right paracord under the base strands and over the left strand. Cross the left paracord over the base strands and under the right strand. Pull both ends of the paracord firmly to create a tight knot.
- 6). Continue the cobra knotting technique until you knot right down to the buckle.
- 7). Place each end of the loose paracord into the lighter flame for 2 seconds to singe and seal the ends. Allow the ends to cool for 30 seconds, then tuck each end back into the last cobra knot on the bracelet.
