My iPod Won't Allow Me to Add More Than 550 Songs
- 1). Open the iTunes program on your computer, and insert the iPod USB cable into the bottom of the iPod and the USB slot on the computer.
- 2). Select the iPod tab underneath the Devices section of the iTunes' source pane.
- 3). Click the checkbox next to "Convert higher bit rate songs to 128 kbps AAC" underneath the Options section.
- 4). Select the Apply button at the bottom of the iTunes window to save the changes. Click "File" at the top of the iTunes menu, and select "Sync iPod" from the drop-down menu.
- 5). Click the "Eject" button on the iPod tab in the iTunes' source pane to eject the device from the computer.
