How to Store Multiple Clarinet Mouthpieces
- 1). Choose your compartment tool organizer based on the number of mouthpieces you wish to house, if you want the case to be portable and if you want to house other accessories such as a reed case.
- 2). Store your mouthpieces individually. Storing the mouthpieces in separate compartments will prevent scratching or further damage from them banging together during transport.
- 3). Line the bottom of each compartment with a layer of cotton. This will provide a nice cushion for the mouthpiece and limit the damaging effects of rolling around on hard plastic.
- 4). Place a desiccant packet under the cotton lining in the compartment. The packet will keep the compartment dry and the mouthpiece fresh.
