    • 1). Download and install a free video converter program such as AVC Video Converter (see "Resources," below). This video converter program allows you to download music videos from YouTube and convert them to the iPod format (MP4).

    • 2). Launch the program after it has installed, then click the "YouTube" button on the top main panel. Type in the URL address of the YouTube music video you want to download and click "OK" to begin downloading it from YouTube. When the download is complete, the free music video is placed in the source window.

    • 3). Select "Customized MP4 Movie (*.mp4)" in the profile window. Select the output video size and quality compressions. Select the output audio quality settings and choose "Stereo" for a balanced left and right playback.

    • 4). Click "Browse," then select the output folder to save the music video to after it has been converted to MP4 format. Click "Encode" to begin the conversion process. When the conversion is complete, the downloaded free YouTube music video is in MP4 format and can be uploaded on your iPod.

    • 5). Connect your iPod to the computer using the supplied USB cable, then launch iTunes if it does not automatically launch. iTunes displays your iPod on the left panel.

    • 6). Click the "File" button on the main menu and select "Add to Library." Locate the MP4 music video from the output folder you saved it to after the conversion, then click "Open" to load it to the iTunes library.

    • 7). Click your iPod on the left panel and select the "Movies" tab. Click "Sync movies" and select the MP4 music video you uploaded to the iTunes library. Click "Apply" to upload the music video on your iPod.
