How to Set Up Router to Get Internet on iTouch at Home
- 1). Write down the router's network name and password, as you'll need this in order to connect your iPod Touch to the Internet.
- 2). Press the "Home" button on your iPod Touch, and slide your finger across the screen's bar to unlock the device.
- 3). Tap the "Settings" icon on the home screen, then tap the "Wi-Fi" tab.
- 4). Swipe your finger over the Wi-Fi switch to turn it on. Tap the "Other" tab, and tap the "Name" bar. Type your home network's name, and tap the "Security" tab.
- 5). Select the type of security used for your router. Most routers use WEP or WPA as the type of security. Tap the "Other Network" tab in the upper-left corner to return to the previous screen, and tap the "Password" tab.
- 6). Type your network password, and tap the "Join" button in the lower-right corner of the screen. Press the "Home" button on the iPod Touch to return to the home screen.
