How to Glue a Berkley Fireline Crystal Fish Line

    • 1). Tie a knot such as an Improved Clinch or Palomar (see "References") to attach a hook or lure to the Berkley Fireline Crystal.

    • 2). Trim excess line from the knot with a pair of scissors. Hold the free end of the line extending from the knot and trim the knot as close as possible with a pair of sharp scissors.

    • 3). Apply a drop of non-toxic glue that is fast drying and will not damage fishing line. Hold the line and place the drop of glue on the line just above the knot.

    • 4). Hold the line up so that the glue will run down and coat the knot. Allow the glue to coat the knot as thoroughly as possible to prevent the knot from slipping during use.

    • 5). Allow the glue to dry for several minutes before using. Blow slightly on the glued knot to help the drying process.
