It is natural for a breakup to bring around negative emotions. There is the feeling of being abandoned coupled with some thoughts of regret over things that were supposed to be done but were not actually done as well as with things that were supposed to be not done but was actually done. One thing about breakups is that they can sometimes be unexpected. One day, the two of you are happily in love with each other, and on the following day, one of these two individuals in a relationship has realized that he does not want to be in the relationship anymore. It is probably the unexpectedness of things that make it even more painful and hard to endure.
A good way to deal with a breakup is to change one's thinking. There is probably nothing more painful than watching someone whom you intend to share the rest of your life with, walk away without any hesitance, which just proves how serious the breakup is. For some people, their hearts are filled with sadness, rejection and on other times, it can even be filled with anger and rage. These negative emotions are toxic to one's beings.

Upon breakup, it is natural and understandable for any person to feel weak, lost and unmotivated. However, it should not end there. Grieving and mourning are natural.
