How to Reset Safari on an iPod

    • 1). Double-tap the iPod Touch home button to bring up the multitasking menu. Tap the "Safari" app icon and hold your finger on the icon until the icon starts to wiggle. Tap the "Minus" button in the icon's upper left-hand corner to reset the application itself.

    • 2). Press the home button to return to the iPod Touch home screen. Tap the "Settings" icon, followed by the "Safari" option to view the Safari settings.

    • 3). Tap the "Clear History" option, and confirm that you want to clear the history. Tap the "Clear Cookies" button, and confirm that you want to clear the cookies. Tap the "Clear Cache" button, and confirm that you want to clear the cache. Once all of these have been cleared, the application has been reset.
