BAD AND DARK TIMES DO NOT INDICATE GOD'S ANGER WITH YOU

Please be sure to read the letter I wrote to a Christian young lady (19 to 20 years old) who was robbed and raped.

Each day you and I hear and/or experience "bad to worse" news. Does bad or "dark (evil)" events in your life indicate that God is angry with you? This article will use the Bible to prove that dark, "evil", undesirable or bad times may indicate something else from God. This article also informs readers how to deal with these dark, unexpected and unwanted times. Is there anything you or I can do to avoid these dark events.

It's been two thousand years since Jesus Christ walked this earth. The Bible warned of a terrible time before Jesus would come again. In fact the Bible warned that things would go from "bad" to "worse" (2 Timothy 3: 1-13). You and I are living in that time period. We will hear and experience "bad" news more often than good news. How do we deal with constant bad and undesirable news?

We can continue to be anxious, fearful, or willing to "do anything" to stay financially above earth's problems (Luke 21:26). Or we can ask for God's Presence (Holy Spirit) and His "mind" on these matters. Pharaoh called Joseph to deal with Egypt's "time of trouble". Pharaoh recognized that Joseph's God of the Bible was All Wise and All Capable (Genesis 41:14-45).

So the first thing you and I should do is realize that bad, "dark" or unwanted situations do not necessarily mean that God is angry with us. When we have sinned, we just need to plead the blood of Jesus and ask God for forgiveness (Romans 5:8-9; 1 John 1:7-10). God won't shield us from our consequences. But He will continue to love us, provide for us and protect us from the "woes" that He is bringing upon planet earth (Revelation 12:12; Luke 21:26; Psalm 91:1-16).

We then must begin to take all our concerns and needs to God in prayer and ask for the "peace of God" which the Holy Ghost gives (Philippians 4:6-7). It is imperative that you begin to replace the worries and ways of this world (1 John 2:15-17) with the Spirit ways of God (John 4:24). God will only provide for, protect, and be present with those who obey Him as ruler (Acts 5:32). This does mean that you have to change your life from "the world comes first" to "supporting Christianity and obeying God (Church attendance) (Hebrews 10:24).

Many Church goers complain that God is failing to provide for them. The Bible commands all to love God above anything and everything else (Matthew 22:37). When a Christian places things above God, God will in turn do the same to them. On occassions ancient Israel disobeyed God and obeyed Egypt. God became angry and told disloyal Israel to look to Egypt for protection (Jeremiah 42:18). If we want God's full provisions and protection we must obey Him (Acts 5:32).

If Church goers or any believer in God isnot having needs met, they should "repent" and:

1) Return to Godly obedience

2) Put nothing above God (Exodus 20:3)

3) Repent and ask God for forgiveness of ALL sins (1 John 1:7-10)

4) Get to Church immediately (Hebrews 10:24)

5) Praise, Worship, Sing and Dance before the Lord

6) Petition the Holy Ghost to return to your person, family, friends, business, etc

7) Read and Study God's Word Daily

8) Pray To God Daily

9) Ask God for His Peace, Protection, Presence & Provisions

10) Cultivate all the Spiritual things of God

11) Be sure to remove worldly ways

12) Have no association with "things of Satan's dark kingdom"

13) Do all things in the Name of Jesus

14) Plead the Blood of Jesus over you and yours (Exodus 12:13)

Someone might say that they are doing all of that and that God is still ignoring them or allowing them to suffer. God did this to Job (Job Chapters 1 and 2), David (Psalm 69:1-4, 14) and Paul (2 Corinthians 12:7). God caused these 3 men to "suffer" to prophetically show what Jesus would endure or endured on the cross. Notice how both Paul and Jesus were "buffetted" (2 Corinthians 12:7 and Matthew 26:67-Notice how David was persecuted and afflicted at Psalm 119:67, 161).

Letter To My Christian Sister Who Was Raped In Her Late Teens:

"Now That I'm A Minister I Realize That God Takes Us Through Very Dark Times To Bring Us Into His Light. As Jesus Went Into Paradise The Earth Became Dark (Luke 23:43-46). Both Times That The Bible Mentions The Light Of Jesus The Light Came Out Of Darkness (Genesis 1:1-5; John 1:1-5). The Bible Says That Whom God Loves He Is Going To Put Through Such Dark Times (Hebrews 12:5-8). My Christian Sister Remember This Satan Is A Liar (John 8:32-44). I Know This Is Hard To Understand But God Loves You And That's The Real Reason Why You Have Experienced These Things. Look What God Allowed To Happen To Jonah (Jonah 2:1-15) And Job (Job 1:1-10). So Don't Let Satan Play With Your Mind Or Heart. Praise God. Continue To Be Active In A Bible Believing (God Praising) Church And Realize That If God Was Not In Love With You That Satan Would Never Have Been Able To Get To You (Luke 22:31-33). So Remember That My Christian Sister And Look Those Scriptures Up And Start Praying More About It. I Had To Learn How To Praise God And Rejoice Although There Was No Reason To Rejoice In My Life At That Time. My Christian Sister We Are In Warfare With Satan (2 Corinthians 10:4-7; Ephesians 6:10-18; Matthew 4:1-10) And We Can't Run From It. We Can Have Victories Each Day If We Rely On God The Spirit, His Word, Prayer, Love And Praise. And You Know I'm Here For You If You Want To Talk Or Pray Or Anything"

So yes God did allow "prophetic afflicting" to occur but those men still ate food and were provided for. You never read David complaining about personal famine (in the Psalms).

If you are obeying and pleasing God He is "covenanted" to provide for you, protect you, be ever present with you (Hebrews 13:5-6) and bless you.

God's not mad at you or me. Jesus Christ took God's full anger on the cross. It's up to you and me to have a personal relationship with God where we put Him FIRST (above everything and anything). We must then stay spiritually active utilizinig the Bible and the Holy Ghost which will show us why we may be "suffering" or "afflicted".
