How to Repair the Window Switch on a 2002 PT Cruiser
- 1). Pry the PT Cruiser's door panel retaining screw trim covers off the door panel using the trim tool. Remove the hex-head door panel retaining screws from the Chrysler's door panel using the socket set.
- 2). Pry the PT Cruiser's door panel off the door using the trim tool. Pry the window switch out of the door panel using the trim tool.
- 3). Pull the broken window switch off the power window wiring harness by hand. Plug the new switch into the wiring harness and then insert the switch back into the door panel until it clicks into place.
- 4). Replace the PT Cruiser's door panel by reversing your removal method.
