How to Clean Mold From a Vinyl Doll
- 1). Remove the vinyl doll's clothes and accessories. Rinse the doll under warm running water to remove any surface dirt.
- 2). Add a small amount of white vinegar to a bowl. Dip a toothbrush in the vinegar and gently scrub the doll clean. Allow the vinegar to sit on the vinyl for at least 15 minutes to kill the mold and remove any odor.
- 3). Rinse the vinyl doll under warm running water. Add a drop or two of dish soap to your hands and rub it over the doll. Rinse the soap residue from the doll and remove any excess moisture with a towel. Place the doll in an open area to air dry.
- 4). Dampen a cloth with a small amount of vinyl protectant spray. Wipe the cloth over the doll's body and hair, removing any excess with a dry section of the cloth.
