Decorating your home is an ongoing project. The accessories you decorated your home with during the summer don't always work during the winter. Get creative when decorating your home for seasonal holidays, and then once each season is over, just pack up the decorations and put them away until next year. - Winter is the time a lot of people bring out Christmas decorations. One unique way to decorate for Christmas is to create a tabletop scene with Christmas decorations. Use candles, a bowl containing shiny, glass ornaments and framed prints of snowy places. Use silver glitter on top of cotton to create snow on the bottom of the scene.
- Decorate your fireplace mantel for fall using things you gathered from your yard for a budget-friendly seasonal decorating idea. Gather pretty fall leaves, allow them to dry and then spray gold glitter on them. Place them on the mantel once the glitter is dry.
- Make a floral display to represent Independence Day. Put white flowers in a clear vase or white container. Add in small American flags throughout the floral display. If you would like them close together, tie a red ribbon around the flowers and the flags.
- Spring is the time many people decorate for Easter. Decorate for the holiday with a creative arrangement featuring Easter eggs and flowers. Place about nine colored Easter eggs into a medium-sized glass jar, and put flowers in the top.
