How to Import iPhoto From an iPhone

    • 1). Plug your iPhone into a USB port on your Mac using an iPhone USB cable.

    • 2). Click the iPhoto icon in the Dock.

    • 3). Highlight the name of your iPhone from the "Devices" list on the left side of the iPhoto window. The application will display a thumbnail gallery of the images on your iPhone.

    • 4). Fill in the "Event Name" field at the top of the window with a short description summarizing the photos that you are importing.

    • 5). Click on the blue "Import All" button to start importing the iPhone pictures to your iPhoto library.

    • 6). Wait until the import process completes. Select whether to keep or delete the version of the photos on your iPhone. Either way, the images you imported will remain in your iPhoto library.

    • 7). Drag the iPhone icon on the left side of the iPhoto window to the "Trash" tab, then disconnect your iPhone from the computer.
