How to Find a Volcano by Eruption Date

    • 1). Log onto the Global Volcanism Program web site (see Reference 1).

    • 2). Click on the "By Eruption Date" button in the top left corner.

    • 3). Click on the drop-down menu at the top of the page and click on a month. Type the corresponding year into the box on the right.

    • 4). Click the "Get Volcanoes" button. A list of every volcano that erupted during that month and year will be displayed in the center of the web page.
